Make a Change – Become a Parish Councillor

Leading up to the local elections in May, WALC are holding a free online event for the public on everything you need to know about local councils and what they do, the role of a Councillor and how to become one.  Join WALC’s equivalent of Jackie Weaver, County Officer John Crossling, alongside experienced Clerk, Maria Meede, and Rosie Weaver, Chair of WALC and also Meriden Parish Council.

This event is suitable for anyone considering becoming a Councillor, whether standing for election or for co-option.
